Background :CRISPR-associated protein 9 (Cas9) is an RNA-guided DNA endonuclease derived from Streptococcus pyogenes that catalyzes sequence-specific double-strand breaks in genomic DNA. It is the central enzyme of the CRISPR-Cas9 genome editing platform widely used for gene function studies and genetic engineering.

Western blot analysis of MGMT expression in MCF7 (A), Jurkat (B), HepG2 (C), PC3 (D) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of MGMT staining in human rectum cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
