Background :Catenin delta-2: Has a critical role in neuronal development, particularly in the formation and/or maintenance of dendritic spines and synapses . Involved in the regulation of canonical Wnt signaling (By similarity). It probably acts on beta-catenin turnover, facilitating beta-catenin interaction with GSK3B, phosphorylation, ubiquitination and degradation . May be involved in neuronal cell adhesion and tissue morphogenesis and integrity by regulating adhesion molecules. Functions as a transcriptional activator when bound to ZBTB33

Western blot analysis of CD326 expression in HCT116 (A), HT29 (B), SW480 (C), Sw620 (D), T47D (E) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of CD326 staining in human lung cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
