Product Name :LIPT1 polyclonal antibody
Application_all :WB (1/500 - 1/1000), IHC (1/50 - 1/200)
Background :Lipoyl amidotransferase that catalyzes the transfer of lipoyl moieties from lipoyl-protein H of the glycine cleavage system (lipoyl-GCSH) to E2 subunits of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex (PDCE2) . Unable to catalyze the transfer of octanoyl from octanoyl-GCSH to PDCE2 . In vitro, it is also able to catalyze the transfer of the lipoyl group from lipoyl-AMP to the specific lysine residue of lipoyl domains of lipoate-dependent enzymes but this reaction may not be physiologically relevant (Probable)
Product :1mg/ml in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification&Purity :The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of LIPT1 protein
Note :For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Name :Lipoyltransferase 1, mitochondrial; Lipoate biosynthesis protein; Lipoate-protein ligase; Lipoyl ligase
Immunogen :A synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human LIPT1.
