Product Name :TFAP2E polyclonal antibody
Application_all :WB (1/500 - 1/1000)
Background :Transcription factor AP-2-epsilon: Sequence-specific DNA-binding protein that interacts with inducible viral and cellular enhancer elements to regulate transcription of selected genes. AP-2 factors bind to the consensus sequence 5'-GCCNNNGGC-3' and activate genes involved in a large spectrum of important biological functions including proper eye, face, body wall, limb and neural tube development. They also suppress a number of genes including MCAM/MUC18, C/EBP alpha and MYC. AP-2-epsilon may play a role in the development of the CNS and in cartilage differentiation (By similarity)
Product :1mg/ml in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.
Purification&Purity :The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.
Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of TFAP2E protein
Note :For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Name :Transcription factor AP-2-epsilon; AP2-epsilon; Activating enhancer-binding protein 2-epsilon
Immunogen :A synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human TFAP2E.
Modification :Unmodification
