Product Name :LRRC58 polyclonal antibody
Application_all :WB (1/500 - 1/1000)
Background :Leucine-rich repeat-containing protein 58: Substrate-recognition component of a cullin-5-RING E3 ubiquitin-protein ligase complex (ECS complex, also named CRL5 complex), which mediates the ubiquitination and subsequent proteasomal degradation of target proteins, such as CDO1 . The ECS(LRRC58) complex acts as a regulator of cysteine catabolism by mediating ubiquitination and degradation of CDO1, the rate-limiting enzyme of the cysteine catabolic process to taurine . L-cysteine abundance regulates ECS(LRRC58)-mediated ubiquitination of CDO1: the complex promotes ubiquitination and degradation of CDO1 in presence of high level of cysteine, but not when cysteine abundance is low
