Background :G kinase-anchoring protein 1: Regulates insulin-dependent IRS1 tyrosine phosphorylation in adipocytes by modulating the availability of IRS1 to IR tyrosine kinase. Its association with IRS1 is required for insulin-induced translocation of SLC2A4 to the cell membrane. Involved in TNF-induced impairment of insulin-dependent IRS1 tyrosine phosphorylation

Western blot analysis of BAF53B expression in HL60 (A), Hela (B), HepG2 (C), mouse brain (D) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of BAF53B staining in human brain formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
