Background :Pyrin and HIN domain-containing protein 1: Major mediator of the tumor suppressor activity of IFN in breast cancer cells. Promotes ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of MDM2, which leads to p53/TP53 stabilization. Promotes ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of HDAC1, which in turn enhances maspin expression, and impairs invasive activity of cancer cells

Western blot analysis of FKBP9 expression in mouse kidney (A) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of FKBP9 staining in human hepatocarcinoma formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
