Background :Threonine aspartase 1: Protease responsible for KMT2A/MLL1 processing and activation . It also activates KMT2D/MLL2 (By similarity). Through substrate activation, it controls the expression of HOXA genes, and the expression of key cell cycle regulators including CCNA1, CCNB1, CCNE1 and CDKN2A (By similarity)

Western blot analysis of ESD expression in Jurkat (A), HepG2 (B), mouse liver (C), mouse kidney (D) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of ESD staining in human trachea formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
