Background :EF-hand domain-containing family member B: Microtubule inner protein (MIP) part of the dynein-decorated doublet microtubules (DMTs) in cilia axoneme, which is required for motile cilia beating . Cytosolic sensor for calcium, modulates the interaction of STIM1 and ORAI1 upon store depletion and the activation of store-operated Ca(2+) entry (SOCE) and NFAT translocation from cytosol to nucleus

Western blot analysis of SOD2 expression in 293T (A), Hela (B), C2C12 (C), NIH3T3 (D), rat liver (E), rat brain (F) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of SOD2 staining in mouse kidney formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
