Background :Elongation factor-like GTPase 1: GTPase involved in the biogenesis of the 60S ribosomal subunit and translational activation of ribosomes. Together with SBDS, triggers the GTP-dependent release of EIF6 from 60S pre-ribosomes in the cytoplasm, thereby activating ribosomes for translation competence by allowing 80S ribosome assembly and facilitating EIF6 recycling to the nucleus, where it is required for 60S rRNA processing and nuclear export

Western blot analysis of uPA expression in H1792 (A), Myla2059 (B), PC3 (C), mouse kidney (D), mouse muscle (E), rat kidney (F), rat muscle (G) whole cell lysates.

Immunohistochemical analysis of uPA staining in human lung formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
