Background :Methyl-lysine is a post-translational modification in which lysine residues (predominantly on histones) are mono-, di- or tri-methylated. These marks constitute a key component of the 'histone code' that regulates chromatin dynamics and gene expression. Pan-specific antibodies to methyl-lysine recognize this modification across multiple protein substrates.
