Background :Pepsinogen C (progastricsin) is the zymogen precursor of pepsin C, an aspartic proteinase secreted by gastric chief cells. Upon acid activation in the stomach, it digests dietary proteins. Serum pepsinogen levels are used clinically as biomarkers of gastric atrophy and gastric cancer screening.

Product :1mg/ml in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.

Purification&Purity :The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.

Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of Pepsinogen C protein.
