Background :Pepsinogen C (also known as progastricsin) is the inactive precursor of pepsin C (gastricsin), an aspartic protease secreted by gastric chief cells. It is cleaved to active pepsin C in the acidic environment of the stomach, where it participates in protein digestion. Pepsinogen C is a biomarker for gastric mucosal function and gastric cancer risk assessment.

Product :1mg/ml in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.

Purification&Purity :The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.

Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of Pepsinogen C protein only when phosphorylated at S15.
