Background :Alliinase (EC 4.4.1.4) is a pyridoxal 5'-phosphate (PLP)-dependent enzyme found in garlic (Allium sativum) that catalyzes the conversion of the non-protein amino acid alliin into allicin, pyruvate and ammonia. Allicin is the primary bioactive sulfur compound responsible for garlic's characteristic odor and many of its antimicrobial and health-promoting properties.

Product :1mg/ml in 0.42% Potassium phosphate, 0.87% Sodium chloride, pH 7.3, 30% glycerol, and 0.01% sodium azide.

Purification&Purity :The antibody was purified by immunogen affinity chromatography.

Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.

Specificity :Recognizes endogenous levels of Alliinase protein.
