Background :Inactive tyrosine-protein kinase PRAG1: Catalytically inactive protein kinase that acts as a scaffold protein. Functions as an effector of the small GTPase RND2, which stimulates RhoA activity and inhibits NGF-induced neurite outgrowth (By similarity). Promotes Src family kinase (SFK) signaling by regulating the subcellular localization of CSK, a negative regulator of these kinases, leading to the regulation of cell morphology and motility by a CSK-dependent mechanism (By similarity). Acts as a critical coactivator of Notch signaling (By similarity)

Immunohistochemical analysis of CD8a staining in human liver cancer formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissue section. The section was pre-treated using heat mediated antigen retrieval with sodium citrate buffer (pH 6.0). The section was then incubated with the antibody at room temperature and detected using an HRP conjugated compact polymer system. DAB was used as the chromogen. The section was then counterstained with haematoxylin and mounted with DPX.
