Product Name :UTP20 polyclonal antibody
Application_all :WB,1:500 - 1:1000
Background :Part of the small subunit (SSU) processome, first precursor of the small eukaryotic ribosomal subunit. During the assembly of the SSU processome in the nucleolus, many ribosome biogenesis factors, an RNA chaperone and ribosomal proteins associate with the nascent pre-rRNA and work in concert to generate RNA folding, modifications, rearrangements and cleavage as well as targeted degradation of pre-ribosomal RNA by the RNA exosome. Involved in 18S pre-rRNA processing. Associates with U3 snoRNA.
Product :Rabbit IgG, 1mg/ml in PBS with 0.02% sodium azide, 50% glycerol, pH7.2
Purification&Purity :The antibody was affinity-purified from rabbit antiserum by affinity-chromatography using epitope-specific immunogen and the purity is > 95% (by SDS-PAGE).
Storage&Stability :Store at 4°C short term. Aliquot and store at -20°C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
Specificity :UTP20 polyclonal antibody detects endogenous levels of UTP20 protein.
Note :For research use only, not for use in diagnostic procedure.
Alternative Name :DRIM; Small subunit processome component 20 homolog; Down-regulated in metastasis protein; Novel nucleolar protein 73; NNP73; Protein Key-1A6
Immunogen :KLH-conjugated synthetic peptide encompassing a sequence within the center region of human UTP20.
