Background :DDRGK1 (also called UFBP1, C20orf116, and Dashurin) is an ER protein that is a key component of the UFMylation system and regulator of ER homeostasis. It is also a regulator of NF-κB activity. DDRGK1 is indispensable for embryonic development and hematopoiesis.
